The Commercial Team has expanded the purview of Gear Patrol’s current direct-sold AdOps management partner, HashtagLabs, to oversee our programmatic activity on the new CMS. They will be instrumental in not only the monetization and ad network migration, but also, our ongoing programmatic strategy.

Design Status Update

Our team's initial UX wireframes have passed the feasibility round with 10Up and are ready for stakeholder feedback. The first round of internal feedback on homepage, section, collection, and navigation mocks will be conducted from 6/7-6/12 to ensure these mocks meet all existing business needs. Next up will be a feasibility round and internal feedback session on article components.

Image Licensing

We are working with Getty images on an image licensing strategy for Gear Patrol content. We have secured a discounted license for team use on Wordpress, and can roll out this new license once we've finalized the strategy for historical image content.

Analytics

Google Analytics' new platform, GA4, officially launches on July 1. We already have a GA4 property with almost a year of historical data; now, we are working on selecting the right partner to migrate dashboards and provide training on the new interface. In tandem, we are working with Sales Marketing to add more audience insight tools, starting in 2024.
