Oris watch
No Two Oris x Brancenet Aquis Watches Are the Same Oris has been making quality timepieces for over a century. To make its latest watch, it collaborated with Bracenet, a company that pulls old fishing nets out of the ocean and upcycles them into new products. This partnership yielded the stunning new Oris x Bracenet Aquis, which features a sleek stainless steel case and band, and a vibrant green dial.
The greenish-blue dial is where the partnership comes to life. Oris used the discarded or lost fishing nets collected by Bracenet to make its kaleidoscope dials, which are an iridescent combination of green, blue and white. Due to the process in which they’re made, each dial is totally unique. As you’d expect from a watch with ties to the ocean, the Aquis has 300m of water resistance. The timepiece also has automatic movements, unidirectional rotating bezels and the hands and indices are filled with Super-Luminova for readability. As Oris strives to produce socially conscious products, you can feel good about picking one up today.
